Where in the World is Dean Cristina?

Start spreading the news, New York, New York! Division of Arts and Humanities Dean Cristina Della Coletta is heading to the Big Apple to meet with UC San Diego alumni. With a vision to raise the division’s profile both on and off campus, Cristina considers alumni a key resource in this venture. It is an important objective for her since there are so many impressive alumni with inspiring stories to share.

Cristina will gather with alumni from Theatre & Dance at a departmental holiday gathering on December 14, join an alumni lunch on December 15 to discuss emerging arts and technologies, and also meet with several prominent foundations to share her vision for building support for the future. Her visit also includes a stop to see five-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein, M.F.A. ’90 take the stage as Tevye in the revival of “Fiddler on the Roof” at the Broadway Theatre and a tour of the New York Times with regional Alumni Club president, Marlo Epres ’05, who serves as SEO/engineering manager at New York Times Digital.
